Nika Nuova, 3.11.2025 - 8.11.2025

The first solo exhibition of Nika Nuova developed across three intimately linked themes: the female body as a place of origin and spirituality; emotions, made manifest into tangible forms; finally, the landscape, both natural and urban, considered in its affective dimension. At the heart of Nika Nuova’s artworks lies the resonance between a physical, textile dimension, and its emotional sphere. Interwoven within this dialogue is also the artist’s personal biographical journey – having recently settled in Milan: her creations, made from fabrics and textiles imbued with memories, act as narrative devices that stitch together her roots with a reflection on her new present. Through embroidery gestures – simple yet incisive – the artist performs not only an act of care and preservation, but also of regeneration. This is how she reclaims her space and her inner world.

Nika Nuova is a textile artist with experiences across diverse fields – from fashion to product design. Driven by a strong awareness of all the creative production’s social and environmental implications, as a natural evolution of her practice she began creating wall sculptures, choosing textile materials for their remarkable versatility and a unique ability to convey complex stories, making them immediately tangible and emotionally resonant. Each creation invites the viewer to go beyond aesthetics.
